The Applied Radiation Physics Group is a group of physicists and bio-engineers devoted to the study of applications of particle physics. It was created in 2011 by a group of high energy physicists, coming from large experimental collaborations, that decided to apply their knowledge in elementary particle detectors and data analysis to address needs of the society. With a progressive extension of competences and collaborations, the group now spans several areas, from medical physics to industrial research.
