Since the experiment of Fleshman and Ponds in 1989 Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR or "Cold Fusion""Cold Fusion") have remained among the interest of a small community within the skepticism of the mainstream community.
Following some recent unexpected hints of neutron production in high-voltage atmospheric discharges, we have setup an experiment to measure the neutron flux in plasma discharges in electrolytic cells. The main goal of these studies is to understand the possible problems arizing when using neutron detectors in this context.
