GSI @ OCT


Aim

  1. We are going to use silvio as target. Monoenergetic: 200/220 MeV/u. PMMA or poly for modeling... Transversal dimension?
  2. One arm: chamber + LYSO (charged particles flux + shape along z)
  3. Other arm: Baf + collimator+ CMOS ?

When?

Starting from 9-14 May. Setting of cave takes ~ 1 day. We are going to have 1-2 shifts.

  • We start the 10th of May
  • We end the 15th May

Before 10 setting of the cave + quality check of the beam.

Mechanics

Rec with wheels. (dismounting)

Table + arms to hold detectors.

  1. One start counter BEFORE the phantom.
  2. One arm should move in theta: New BM + LYso
  3. One arm is fixed @ 90 degrees (collimator, BaF, veto)

Neutral Analysis

  • The output has to be proceessed with macros in folder Spettro/

Several test done

  • PhotonsOutput: contains "benchmark results" from Michi
  • PhotonsOutputNew: New calibration + added DT correction INSIDE Ana.cc + removal of scorsize == 1 requirement
  • PhotonsOutputNewNoSele: removed the "single carbon" selection + New calibration + added DT correction INSIDE Ana.cc + removal of scorsize == 1 requirement
  • PhotonsOutputNewNoSele_AndTiming: removed the "single carbon" selection + New calibration + added DT correction INSIDE Ana.cc + removal of scorsize == 1 requirement .. Now to compute the time we use the AND and not the OR (shouldn't make any real difference)
